What is an Online Booking ID and how do I get one?
Answer:
An Online Booking ID stores all your information on our certified secure web site so that next time you want to book an online reservation you do not have to reenter your address, telephone number, payment preference etc. To obtain an Online Booking ID, you need to first make a reservation online and on the very last page of the process (right after submitting the reservation) is a link to create an Online Booking ID.
|
Long Answer:
At this time the Online Booking ID is not tied to any sort of frequent rider program or rewards program. It is for secure storage of your booking information only. If we establish any sort of rewards program, those with Online Booking IDs will be informed.
If you have an Online Booking ID and you can't remember what it is, please send an email to info@goairportconnection.com and we will do our best to retrieve your ID for you. If we cannot find the correct ID, we can create a new one for you using the information in a previous reservation. Just let us know which reservation to take the information from.
If you wish to change the information in your Online Booking ID, just enter your ID as though you were going to be making a reservation and you will have the option to go into the system and modify the information that is stored.

How long do I have to wait for a shared ride van once I arrive at the airport?
Answer:
Usually 15 to 25 minutes from the time you check in with us, luggage in hand. Some destinations have slightly longer waits but we will try to get you on your way as quickly as possible. We do not make you sit and wait until the van is totally full. When you book a reservation we will specify the usual wait time during the confirmation process.
|
Long Answer:
It depends on the airport you are using, where you are traveling to and whether or not you have booked a reservation in advance. We will try to get you on your way as soon as we can even if it is sooner than the times below! We do not make you wait until the van is full. Conversely, weather, traffic and major flight delays can sometimes cause the times below to be exceeded.
If you have booked a reservation before arriving:
Milwaukee’s General Mitchell Airport (also called Mitchell or MKE) - Traveling to Downtown Milwaukee the wait time is usually 15 minutes or less. If you are traveling to other locations in the Greater Milwaukee Area (including most suburban locations) the wait is 15 to 25 minutes. If you are traveling to a location more than 55 minutes from the airport (including Sheboygan and the Fox Valley) the wait sometimes stretches to 40 minutes. These times are all figured from when you check in at our desk at Baggage Claim #3 with your luggage in hand. Click here to see a picture of our desk at Baggage Claim #3 in the Milwaukee Airport.
International terminal at Milwaukee’s Airport (usually if you are coming in from Mexico or the Caribbean) - The wait time starts after you clear customs and call us at our 800 number. If you call us to let us know you have your luggage and are clear of customs, we will pick you up right at the International Terminal (also called the International Arrivals Building, IAB or just IT).
Amtrak Downtown Milwaukee, Amtrak at Milwaukee Airport, Lake Express, Greyhound in Milwaukee or Badger Bus in Milwaukee – The wait time starts when you call us at our 800 number to let us know you are at the station and ready to leave.
Chicago O’Hare or Midway – The wait is usually 10-25 minutes from the time you call our 800 number and let us know that you have all of your luggage in hand, are through customs and ready to leave. Our driver is waiting in a special parking lot at the airport and it usually takes at least 10 minutes to drive from there to the terminals.
If you do not have a reservation and you contact us once you are at the airport:
Although we will always do our very best to accommodate walk-on customers as quickly as possible, the wait times that you experience are usually much longer than if you reserve in advance (which usually means at least 24 hours).
From Milwaukee locations wait times for walk-ons range from 15 minute to 75 minutes for places in the Metro area. Walk-ons going to locations in Sheboygan or the Fox Valley may have to wait until a scheduled passenger is heading their way. This can result in wait times of up to 3 hours (more if you walk-on after our last pre-reserved passengers leave the airport).
If you call us unexpectedly from Chicago, the wait for a ride will likely be at least 2-4 hours, unless you luck out and we happen to have a van in Chicago at the time.
Although we prefer at least 24 hour notice, if you suddenly find out that you need a ride less than 24 hours in advance, call us and we can usually accommodate you within our normal wait times. So, the best thing is to always pre-reserve your ride from the airport once you know you will want our service.

How much advance notice do you need for reservations?
Answer:
Normally, we apprecaiate at least 24 hour advance notice. For certain peak travel times (around holidays especially) we suggest booking furher in advance. If you have less than 24 hours notice, call us up. If we can find a way to fit you into the schedule, we certainly will. If you are stuck at one of the airports that we serve, check with us, we might have a van heading your way.

Long Answer:
Last minute reservations are part of our business and we will always do our best to accomdate all requests. It never hurts to ask us if we can get you to or from the airport, even if it is truely last minute. We have vans all over Southeast Wisconsin so there is always a chance that we will have a van near you when you need to travel. Of course if you are going to or from Chicago, we might not have as much lsat minute availabilty. Also, private car and wheelchair accessible services are always better booked as far in advance as possible. If you do call us with a last minute need, we will tell you exactly what we can do for you given the notice that you have.

What kinds of vehicles do you use?
Answer:
Our Executive Car Service uses Lincoln Town Cars. Our van service uses Ford vans, 10 passenger capacity with plenty of room for luggage. We also have a Sprinter van that operates from our Sheboygan office usually for runs to Chicago O'Hare.
|
|
Long Answer:
Currently, we have a total of 49 vehicles in the fleet. This includes 6 Lincoln Town Cars, one Sprinter Van, our wheelchair accessible van and the balance are Ford E350 extended length vans. The E350 vans are essentially 15 passenger vans with the rear seat removed to provide plenty of luggage space. Removing the seat allows space for 10 passengers plus the driver.
